Dr. James Hertzog

Dr. James Hertzog is the owner and optometric physician of Hertzog Family Eye Care in Cabot and Jacksonville. He graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, and the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn. He is a Past President of the Cabot Lions Club and a past Board Member of the Cabot Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves on the Board for the Cabot Panther Foundation, and he is the ArOA Vision Consultant to Medicaid. Dr. Hertzog gives his time to Optometry by promoting public awareness through health fairs, social media and eye screenings with the Lions Club. Other accomplishments and awards include: Arkansas Democrat –Gazette’s “20 to Watch in 2013”; the Arkansas Optometric Association Young Optometrist of the Year in 2011; the 2013 Cabot Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year; the 2014 ArOA Special Service award; and 2014 Cabot Panther Foundation's Hall of Fame; the Hayes Center Practice of Excellence Award through Southern College of Optometry in 2015. He serves as President of the Arkansas Optometric Association and was recently elected to the School Board for Cabot Public Schools. Of all of his accomplishments he is most proud to be the loving husband to Dr. Charity Hertzog and father to his three sons, Jacob, Jonah, and Isaac.
Dr. Charity Hertzog

Dr. Charity Hertzog was born in Trenton, New Jersey. She attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Southern College of Optometry where she graduated with honors. She completed a residency in ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Memphis, TN. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Arkansas Optometric Association. She is an active member of Junior Auxiliary of Cabot. She served as Clinical Director at TLC Laser Eye Center in Little Rock for the last six years. She is married to Dr. James Hertzog and has three boys, Jacob, Jonah, and Isaac.
Dr. Maci Lewis
Dr. Maci Lewis grew up in Conway, Arkansas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Ouachita Baptist University and attended Southern College of Optometry where she graduated with honors. Dr. Lewis has been involved in several mission trips abroad throughout high school, college, and optometry school. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Arkansas State Optometric Association.

Dr. Eva Hudson
Dr. Eva Hudson was born and raised in Russellville, Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas magna cum laude in 2017. During her optometric education she received high honors in clinical care during her internships at Fort Roots VA in Little Rock, AR, The Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, and The Eye Center in Fayetteville, AR. In May of this year she graduated magna cum laude with Beta Sigma Kappa honors from Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Hudson is a member of the American Optometric Association and Arkansas Optometric Association. She is excited to move back to Arkansas with her fiancé, Ryan, and their dog, Jager!
